SUMMER PROGRAMS
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Wiregrass offers Summer Programs at the Dothan and Enterprise locations, to give youth an adventurous, active and healthy summer.
Our Summer programs offer fun experiences with opportunities to meet new friends, participate in sporting activities, discover new interests, and create memories that last a lifetime

Counselors In Training Volunteer Program
Membership into the CIT program are taken in Feb/March of each year. Applications should be completed and turned in with Summer Registration. (Even for membership the following school year)
ALL CIT's accepted into the program MUST attend training which takes place the last week of May each year. (See applications for exact dates). (Even for membership the following school year)

The C.I.T Volunteer program assists Club members ages 13 to 18 in exploring a career in youth or human services, particularly Boys & Girls Club work.
Club members wishing to join the CIT program must complete the CCIT Membership Packet found on our FORMS page.
Membership into the CIT program are taken in Feb/March of each year. Applications should be completed and turned in with Summer Registration. (Even for membership the following school year)
ALL CIT's accepted into the program MUST attend training which takes place the last week of May each year. (See applications for exact dates). (Even for membership the following school year)
NO one will be added to the program throughout the year. No one will be added who is unable to complete the Summer training.
13 to 18 year old's wishing to join the CIT Program must be able to attend of 3 days per week/4 hrs. per day for Summer Camp and 3 day's per week 2 hours per day for the After-school program.
Limited slots are available and membership is added based on availability each year $25 annual membership is required if chosen for the position. There is no cost to attend as a CIT.
Applicants are interviewed each year in March for the position.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
We do offer partial financial assistance for our summer program. Funding is limited.
Please get your application in early. It takes up to 2 weeks to process once application is received.
Slots are NOT held until your child's membership application is received with a Down Payment.
Everyone wishing to attend MUST pay a portion of the program fees. We do not give 100% financial assistance.
Application deadline is April 30th, for Summer, if funding/slot availability lasts that long. Applications must be complete to be considered for assistance. This means all required forms must be included. Incomplete forms will be discarded so please read instructions carefully.
