Boys & Girls Clubs of the Wiregrass offers a variety of career opportunities for people with experience and academic training in education, social work, physical education, and related fields.

 Current Job Openings: 

7/07/17 Unit Director (Slocomb Club) Part-time position (Available 8/2017)
 Directs/manages overall daily operations of the designated Clubhouse with the primary concern for programs and service delivery, supervision and training of staff, facilities, management, community relations and membership administration.
Manage 4-5 staff and over 60 members per day.
General work hours: Monday-Friday 2:00– 6:30 pm; some morning hours required.  (August through May.  Some summer hours are possible)  ****POSITION STARTS AUGUST 2017******  Training in July

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
• A minimum of two years work experience in a Boys and Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people, or equivalent experience. 
• Demonstrated ability in personnel supervision, facilities management, and the recruitment and retention of key personnel.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff.
• Ability to deal effectively with members including discipline problems.
• Demonstrated ability in working with young people, parents and community leaders.



7/07/17- Program Staff (Rehobeth Club) Part-time position (available 8/2017)
The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Wiregrass is looking for an energetic and hardworking Program Staff at our Rehobeth Unit. 
Program Staff implement educational programs and provide services on a daily basis to the youth enrolled at the club. They help develop youth in the areas of character and leadership, education and life skills, sports and fitness and the arts. Perform daily cleaning duties to maintain the club. Must be reliable and work well with others. Program staff are mentors to our youth. They must possess great character, patience, kindness and the ability to be active. Experience with children is required. 
Must be able to work Monday - Friday from 2:00 pm – 6:00pm. Some additional hours may be required on some school holidays

Requirements:
2 or more years of experience with children.
High school diploma required.
Must be able to work 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm Monday- Friday.
Drug and Background check required.
