CIT's (Ages 13-18)

The Camp Councelor  Volunteer Training Program assists Club members ages 13 to 18 in exploring a career in youth or human services, particularly Boys & Girls Club work.  

This is a volunteer job training position. 

CIT Volunteer applications are accepted each year from February- March. 

CIT's must be ages 13 (by May 20) to 18 to apply.

Must Attend a MANDATORY training each May/June at the Dothan Club. 

Must attend and volunteer at the Club a minimum of 3 days per week/2 hrs. per day to waive monthly/program fees.  

Summer requirements are that they attend a minium of 4 days a week volunteering either a morning or afternoon shift (scheduled weekly and rotate mornings/afternoons).

Limited CIT slots are available  at each Club. 

Applicants are interviewed each year for the position.  Those accepted are required to attend training the last week of May each year.
